Research and trust
The seat prices are close enough that the pricing pages won’t decide this. A trial will. Build the same demo in both from your own product, then do what you’ll do most after publishing: export a video from Arcade, or send a lead from Storylane into your CRM. Pick the one that handled your real work with less fixing.
How Arcade and Storylane differ
Arcade
Arcade fits marketing teams that publish demos and video from one tool. Arcade’s homepage leads with an AI video agent for on-brand product videos. Free publishes one interactive demo and one AI video with 200 credits a month. Interactive demos never use credits, and AI video costs 50 credits per 30 seconds.
Growth is $50 per seat a month, or $42.50 billed annually, for up to 10 seats, with extra seats at $50 a month. It includes branching, CTAs and forms, MP4 and GIF export, custom branding and integrations. HTML capture, custom domains, SSO and offline demos are Enterprise features.
Storylane
Storylane fits teams that measure demos in leads and pipeline. Storylane positions its product around turning buyers into pipeline with demos and AI SDRs. Free keeps one demo live at a time with lead capture. Starter is $50 per seat a month, or $40 billed annually, for unlimited demos, custom branding, HubSpot and Zapier, and 250 Account Reveal identifications a month.
Its docs cover screenshot and HTML capture with code-free edits to HTML elements. HTML editing is sold on Demo Suite Growth, $625 a month or $500 billed annually for five seats.
What a team pays
Both sell their first paid plan per seat. The table prices Arcade Growth and Storylane Starter for the same team on both toggles.

Which one to choose
Decide by what happens after someone finishes the demo.
Choose Arcade if…
Your demos turn into launch videos, GIFs for docs or AI voiceover clips, or you want branching and forms without paying for HTML. Growth covers up to 10 seats.
Choose Storylane if…
You want an HTML plan with a listed price, leads captured from the first demo, or Account Reveal on who visited. At five seats, Starter is $200 a month billed annually.
For product launches and social posts
You need the demo as a clip too. Arcade Growth exports MP4 and GIF and generates AI video from credits, so one recording covers the page and the post.
For website demos that feed sales
You need names. Storylane captures leads on its free plan, identifies accounts on Starter, and sends contacts to HubSpot from two seats.
For demos of a complex web app
You want the real interface, not screenshots. Storylane sells HTML editing on Growth for $500 a month billed annually for five seats. Arcade lists HTML capture on Enterprise with a custom price.
If neither fits
Just need guided demos people click through? That’s Arclet. Arclet builds guided interactive demos from the Chrome extension. Free keeps five published for one creator, with unlimited views and no viewer login.
Starter is $29 a month, or $25 billed annually, for unlimited published demos and branding removal. Team is $79, or $69 billed annually, with two creators. HTML capture isn’t generally available yet. If you need video output, lead capture or HTML demos, stay with the two above.
