Supademo or Arcade: which should you pick?
Pick Supademo for more free demos and a lower annual seat price. Pick Arcade if you want AI-generated video from the same tool. Both export demos as MP4 and GIF: Supademo on every plan, with 4K MP4 from Scale, and Arcade from Growth. The difference is AI video. Arcade Free publishes one demo and one AI video, and Growth meters AI video with monthly credits. Supademo Free covers five guided demos and 50 4K video recordings.
| Compared | Supademo | Arcade |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | One creator, five guided interactive demos, 50 4K video recordings, unlimited views. | One seat, one published interactive demo, one published AI video, 200 AI credits a month, unlimited views. |
| First paid plan | Scale, $50 per creator a month, or $38 billed annually. | Growth, $50 per seat a month, or $42.50 billed annually, up to 10 seats. |
| HTML demos | Guided HTML and sandbox demos on Growth, $350 a month billed annually for five creators. | HTML capture listed on Enterprise, custom price. |
| Video | Video recording; GIF and MP4 export on every plan, MP4 up to 1080p with a watermark on Free and 4K from Scale. | AI videos at 50 credits per 30 seconds; MP4 and GIF export on Growth. |
Research and trust
A pricing page tells you what a plan costs. It can’t tell you how well the tool will work on your product. Only a trial shows that, and only if you run it on your own workflow and your own data. Record the same flow in Supademo and Arcade, ideally one with a modal or a dropdown, because those are the screens capture tools most often get wrong. Open both results on a phone, the way a buyer would. If video matters, export the same demo from each and make one AI video in Arcade to see how many credits it really uses.
How Supademo and Arcade differ
Supademo
Supademo fits teams that want guided demos on a per-creator bill. Free gives one creator five guided interactive demos, 50 4K video recordings and unlimited views, and exports GIFs and 1080p MP4s with a watermark. Scale is $50 per creator a month, or $38 billed annually, removes the Supademo watermark and exports MP4 in 4K. Viewers are free, and seat changes are prorated.
Guided HTML and sandbox demos start on Growth, at $450 a month, or $350 billed annually, for five creators, with extra creators at $50 a month. Supademo’s capture docs say HTML capture is meant for web apps and can fail on heavy pages.
Arcade
Arcade fits teams that want AI-generated video next to their demos. Arcade’s homepage leads with an AI video agent that turns a product story into on-brand videos. Interactive demos don’t use credits. AI videos cost 50 credits per 30 seconds, from 200 credits a month on Free and 800 on Growth.
Growth is $50 per seat a month, or $42.50 billed annually, for up to 10 seats. It adds branching, CTAs and forms, MP4 and GIF export, custom branding and a shared team workspace. HTML capture, custom domains and SSO are listed on Enterprise.
What a team pays
Both price by the person building demos. The table shows Supademo Scale and Arcade Growth, the first paid plan each sells to a team, on both billing toggles. Arcade Growth stops at 10 seats.
| Team | Supademo Scale | Arcade Growth |
|---|---|---|
| 1 creator | $50/month, or $38/month billed annually | $50/month, or $42.50/month billed annually |
| 3 creators | $150/month, or $114/month billed annually | $150/month, or $127.50/month billed annually |
| 5 creators | $250/month, or $190/month billed annually | $250/month, or $212.50/month billed annually |
Which one to choose
Start from what the demo has to do once it’s published.
Choose Supademo if…
Your free plan has to carry more than one demo, you want the lower annual seat price, or you need guided HTML or sandbox demos without an enterprise contract. Growth covers five creators for $350 a month billed annually.
Choose Arcade if…
You want AI video generated from a product story, or branching and forms on the first paid plan. Free publishes one demo, so plan on Growth once you need a second.
For a product page or launch post
If the demo will sit on a landing page and also run as a clip in a launch post or changelog, both export MP4 and GIF, and Arcade adds AI video if the clip needs narration and polish. If it’s a click-through tour and nothing else, Supademo’s five free demos let you build the set before you pay.
For a growing demo team
Count creators, not viewers. At five creators billed annually, Supademo Scale is $190 a month and Arcade Growth is $212.50. Past 10 seats, Arcade moves you to Enterprise.
For demos of a complex web app
Guided HTML demos show viewers the real interface instead of screenshots. Supademo sells them from Growth. Arcade lists HTML capture on Enterprise.
If neither fits
Want five free demos, then two creators on one paid plan? That’s Arclet. Arclet Free gives one creator five published demos with unlimited views, and viewers open a public link without logging in. Starter is $29 a month, or $25 billed annually, for unlimited published demos, blur and zoom, AI tooltips and branding removal. Team is $79 a month, or $69 billed annually, with two creators included and more available to add.
Arclet builds guided interactive demos from the Chrome extension, and HTML capture isn’t generally available yet. If HTML demos are required, pick from the two above.
