Which demo automation software should you shortlist?
Match the platform to the demo you’re automating. Live calls, cloned environments, and self-serve tours are different jobs, and most platforms here lead with one of them.
- Live calls in your real product: Saleo or Reprise Reveal
- A cloned environment prospects and SEs can’t break: Demostack or Reprise Replicate
- Self-serve demos with a public entry price: Navattic, Supademo, or Walnut
- Presales at scale with demo analytics: Consensus
- A click-through demo sent before or after the call: Arclet

Research and trust
Four of the eight publish no price, so the cost table shows the pricing model instead of a guess. Where a price is published, we compare it on the same seat count and billing interval.
It automates a demo, not a video
Every platform lets a prospect or rep run the product without a live SE build: a cloned environment, an overlay on the real app, or a guided capture. Screen-recording tools are out.
It fits a sales motion
The platform names presales, sales, or GTM teams as its buyer and connects to the CRM or sales tools those teams use. Arclet is the exception, included as the lighter option.
The pricing model is public
Every vendor either publishes a price or says how it prices. Where only the model is public, we say so and leave the amount blank.
Demo automation platforms, by the job they take off your SEs
The table tells you what each platform is. This section tells you when to pick it and when to walk away.
Arclet
Pick it if your demo job is a short guided walkthrough a buyer clicks through alone, and you want it live today without a sales call.
Look elsewhere if prospects need to explore a working environment, or a rep needs prospect data inside the live product.

Consensus
Pick it if presales is the bottleneck and you want interactive tours, on-demand video demos, and live demos with real-time data injection from one vendor, plus integrations for Salesforce, HubSpot, and Gong.
Look elsewhere if you need a price before the first sales call. Consensus prices per user plus optional usage-based tools and publishes no amount.

Demostack
Pick it if your SEs spend their week resetting demo data. Cloner builds a demo environment that runs without your backend, and Overlay edits the live product while its workflows keep running. AI tools build the demo data, and Demostack holds SOC 2 Type I and II certification.
Look elsewhere if you want to start self-serve. The pricing page has no plans, only a demo request.

Navattic
Pick it if marketing and sales share the budget and you want to start free, then add sandbox demos and account identification on Base.
Look elsewhere if one or two people build demos. Base bills for five seats, and Navattic’s one-seat Startup plan has no public price.

Reprise
Pick it if one presales team runs every demo type. Replay captures guided demos, Replicate clones the app for events and restricted networks, and Reveal overlays prospect data on the live product.
Look elsewhere if you need one of those jobs, not all three, and don’t want an annual platform fee on top of user licenses.

Saleo
Pick it if your reps demo live and the risk is empty or wrong data. Saleo overlays your native product through a Chrome extension with no backend access, syncs with Salesforce and HubSpot, and adds tours and an AI demo agent.
Look elsewhere if you want to buy without an onboarding program. Pricing is modular and every bundle includes a dedicated CSM.

Supademo
Pick it if you want sandbox demos without a sales call. Growth covers five creators with guided HTML and sandbox demos, and Supademo syncs demo engagement to HubSpot and Salesforce.
Look elsewhere if reps demo live inside your real product, or your app is heavy. Supademo builds demos from captures, and its docs say HTML capture can fail on heavy pages.

Walnut
Pick it if reps present demos themselves and a price on the page matters to procurement. Ignite includes three Presenter seats alongside three Editors.
Look elsewhere if you want monthly billing or sandbox demos on the entry plan. Walnut bills annually only, and sandbox demos and personalization start on Accelerate at $1,550 a month.

What a sales team pays
Monthly cost for three and five seats on each platform’s entry team plan, computed from published prices. “Custom quote” means the vendor sells through sales and publishes only its pricing model.
| Tool | 3 creators | 5 creators |
|---|---|---|
| Arclet | $118/month, or $108/month billed annually | $196/month, or $186/month billed annually |
| Consensus | Custom quote | Custom quote |
| Demostack | Custom quote | Custom quote |
| Navattic | $600/month, or $500/month billed annually | $600/month, or $500/month billed annually |
| Reprise | Custom quote | Custom quote |
| Saleo | Custom quote | Custom quote |
| Supademo | $450/month, or $350/month billed annually | $450/month, or $350/month billed annually |
| Walnut | $575/month, billed annually | Extra seat price not published |
Arclet: the lighter option when you don’t need a sandbox
Most demo requests don’t need a demo environment. A prospect wants to see the three screens that matter before they book a call. A champion wants to show their boss after it. That’s a click-through demo, and it doesn’t need a platform contract.
Record the workflow in Chrome, edit the steps, and share a link or embed. Viewers don’t need an account. Free covers one creator and five published demos. Starter is $29 a month for unlimited demos, and Team is $79 a month for two creators.
Start for freeShare a demo a buyer can open without a call.
Click through sharing an Arclet demo as a public link or embed. The frames show Arclet’s share options, not a sandbox or live-product demo.
Pick by the demo you need to automate
Start from the demo your SEs repeat most, then shortlist two platforms that lead with it.
The discovery call demo
Reps show the same product tour on every first call. Saleo or Reprise Reveal keep it in the real product with the right data, so an SE doesn’t have to join.
The proof-of-concept environment
A prospect wants to try the product before security review is done. Demostack’s Cloner or Reprise Replicate give them a copy that can’t touch production.
The demo on your website
Buyers want to see the product before they talk to anyone. Navattic, Supademo, Walnut, and Arclet all publish a starting price. Pick Arclet if a guided click-through is enough and one person builds it.
The follow-up after the call
Your champion needs to sell internally. Send a demo they can forward. Arclet’s share link works without a login, and Consensus adds on-demand video demos with analytics for presales.
